Hi, I'm Mayra
ABOUT

I’m a web and visual designer working at the intersection of research, systems, and visual design. My practice focuses on understanding and structuring content, from knowledge systems to narratives and ideas, and translating it into digital experiences that are both clear and engaging.
With a multidisciplinary background in branding, editorial, and digital design, I approach each project through analysis, mapping, and definition. This allows me to build frameworks where content, structure, and visual expression work together coherently.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve collaborated with studios, companies, and clients internationally, adapting to different contexts and ways of working. My experience spans independent practice and team collaboration, including leading creative processes and working across disciplines.
I’ve lived and worked across different cultural contexts, which has shaped a broader perspective on communication, narrative, and design. I’m particularly interested in projects related to culture, research, and social impact, as well as collaborations that involve complex or under-structured content.
Beyond client work, I engage in research-driven projects, collaborations with artists and researchers, and academic environments, including talks and presentations at universities.
